• Pay Scale/PB Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 10000
• Qualification for the post of Finance Officer (tenure post for five years)
• Essential :-(i) A Master’s degree in Arts or Finances with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.ii) At least 15 years of teaching experience at the University level out of which 8 years in Reader’s grade, preferably having professional degree along with experience in Educational Administration in the area of Finance & Accounts. OR Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institution of higher
• education in the area of Finance and Accounts, preferably CA/ICWA/SAS Service. OR 15 years administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar, (Finance and Accounts)/Deputy Finance Officer or an equivalent post in the area of Finance & Accounts. Jamia Millia Islamia issued a advt on 26/02/2010 at JMI Website http://www.jmi.nic.in/ for post of a Project Fellow in a UGC sponsored major research project on “Quality of Urban Life along River Yamuna (Delhi Segment): A Geospatial Approach” with a fixed salary of Rs. 8000/- p.m. + HRA(as per UGC guidelines).
