Madurai Kamaraj University is looking for the post of ONE Reader in the Department of Geography, School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, MKU Madurai, Advt. No.01/Mku/Seascs/2010 sanctioned by the University Grants Commission under Innovative Programmes for Teaching and Research in Interdisciplinary and Emerging Areas. The post is for the programme period up to March 2012

• Educational Qualifications & Scale of Pay : As per UGC Norms and Guidelines.
• Essential Qualifications: Good academic record with a doctoral degree in Geography or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the university system, shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level. A relaxation of 5% will be provided at the Master’s Degree level for the SC/ST Differently Abled.
