Applications are invited exclusively from Ex. Trade (Act) Apprentices trained in Mechanical Engineering Department of V.P.T. in any trade under Apprentices Act 1961 to the post of Khallasi (Shore)

Last Date of Receipt of applications : 25/09/2009

• Khallasi (Shore), Total Vacancies : 16 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3700 – 60 –4180 – 75 –5830 (Scales are under revision)
• Age Limit :- There is no age limit for the apprentice candidates who are trained in VPT before 03/06/2005. For the apprentices trained on or after 03/06/2005, the age limit shall be 25 years. SC/ST candidates are eligible for 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates are eligible for 3 years relaxation as per extant rules. Age limit will be counted as on the date of notification.
• Minimum Qualifications:- Must have under gone Trade ( Act ) Apprentice-ship in Mechanical Engineering Department of V.P.T. in any trade and in possession of National Apprenticeship certificate. Must know Swimming
