Applications are invited on plain paper for the post of two Research/Project Associates by 28.04.2010 at 11.00 a.m. for the following:

• Research Associates (M.E. / M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering,
• Microelectronics, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with minimum 60% marks) @ salary of Rs. 14,000/- per month. (ii) Project Associates (M.E. / M.Tech. 2nd year students in Electronics and Communication, Microelectronics, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology studying in Panjab University)
• salary of Rs. 10,000/- per month. Knowledge of MATLAB and programming languages is
• desirable. (iii) Project Associates with M. Sc. (Physics) @ salary of Rs. 10,000/- per month. The appointment will be on contractual basis till June, 2010 or as per terms and conditions of the sponsoring agency.

Applications are invited from meritorious students for two (2) Research Fellowships, one each in
Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics for pursuing Ph.D. degree in University Institute
of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) under Research Fellowship for Meritorious Students
(RFMS) scheme of UGC as per the following terms and conditions:

• Research Fellowships
• Total Posts 02
• Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-
• Duration: Initially for 2 years (extendable)
• Eligibility : B. Pharm. (First Division); M. Pharm. (First Division) in respective subject;
• GATE qualified
• Desirable: Published work and industrial/research experience
