The Health and Family Welfare Department of Punjab is inviting applications from the Indian citizens for the various below given posts from the Indian citizens as details published in the their latest advertisement for Punjab Health Department Recruitment 2011

1. Staff Nurse, Total: 94 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 7500/-per month consolidated, Qualification Required : Candidate should have passed Senior Secondary Part-ii Examination and should possess a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery and also should be registered with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act-1932 (Punjab Act No-1 of 1932).
2. Medical Laboratory Technician Grade – II, Total: 67 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 5000/- per month, Qualification Required: Candidate should have passed the Senior Secondary Part- II Examination with Science and should possess a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
3. Radiographer, Total: 82 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 6800/-, Qualification Required : Candidate should have passed the Senior Secondary Part –II Examination in Science (Physics Chemistry and Biology) and should have passed diploma in Radiography.
4. Multipurpose Health Worker (Female), Total: 52 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 6900/- per month, Qualification Required: Candidate should have passed Matriculation Examination with Science along with a diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker (Fe-male) and should be registered as a Multipurpose Health Worker (Fe-male) with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act-1932 (Punjab Act No-1 of 1932).
5. E.C.G Technician (Electro Cardiographer), Total: 44 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 8000/- per month, Qualification Required: Candidate should have passed the Senior Secondary Part –II Examination or its equivalent and also should posses a diploma in Electro Cardiographer.
6. Dialysis Technician, Total: 44 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 8000/- per month, Qualification Required : Candidate should have passed the Senior Secondary Part –II Examination in Science (Physics Chemistry, Biology and English) along with Degree of Medical Laboratory Technician and should have at least 1 year of experience for operating the dialysis machine as dialysis technician from a reputed institution.
7. Clerk/ Computer Assistant/Statistical Clerk, Total: 55 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 7500/- per month, Qualification Required: Candidate should be graduate and should posses at least one 120 hours of course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Govt. recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001, certified.

9. OT Assistant, Total: 22 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 8000/- per month, Qualification Required: Candidate should passed the senior secondary Part-II Examination with Science and should posses a diploma in Operation Theatre Technique.
10. Ophthalmic Officer, Total: 2 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 8000/- per month, Qualification Required: Candidate should have passed the Senior Secondary Part-II Examination in Science with Biology as one of the subject and should possess a diploma of Ophthalmic Assistant.
11. Physiotherapist, Total: 50 ( 25 for males and 25 for female ) Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 15000/- per month, Qualification Required : Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Science (Physics Chemistry, Biology and English) and should posses 4.5 years of Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree/ Course(B.P.T.).
12. Technical Supervisor, Total: 40 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 12000/- per month, Qualification Required : Candidate should have passed the Senior Secondary Part –II Examination in Science (Physics Chemistry, Biology and English) or its equivalent along with Degree of Medical Laboratory Technician and also should have at least 1 year of experience.
13. Drivers, Total: 5 Posts, Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 5000/- per month, Qualification Required : Candidate should have passed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent and should possess a Licence for driving heavy vehicle along with minimum 5 years of experience of driving heavy transport vehicle.
14. Age limit for all the posts: 18 – 37 years of age.
