One post - Qualification & Experience: Essential: (i) MBBS degree recognized by MCI from a recognized University. (ii) Ten years R&D experience in recognized Institute(s) after obtaining essential qualification, out of which at least 3 years in managerial position to handle R & D projects in a team effectively in directing capacity.
- Desirable: (i) MD in Community Medicine/Social & Preventive Medicine/General Medicine recognized by Medical Council of India. (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant fields Vector Borne Disease/Communicable disease/Infectious diseases as evidenced by Publications in PEER reviewed journals. (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Job Requirements: The incumbent is expected to lead a team of Junior Researchers and should have the capability to formulate, execute and interpret Scientific Research works on Vector borne diseases. The candidate should be willing for both field and clinic-based work. The candidate is also expected to have a good knowledge on the application of epidemiological tools in diagnosis, control of communicable diseases and softwares like Epi-info, SPSS, etc. The incumbent should be willing to get involved in the training of Post-Graduate students in the filed of Public Health, vector borne diseases and evaluation of Public Health Programmes and epidemic investigations in collaboration with the respective State Health Department.
- Age:Not exceeding 50 years. Relax-able up to 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST/OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard.
