Recruitment Examination by UPSC for Indian Forest Service 2010

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct a examination of Indian Forest Service 2010 for Recruitment on various Posts as per UPSC notice published on http://www.upsc.gov.in/. Eligible & suitable Candidates can apply to UPSC for Indian Forest Service Examinations 2010 as per criteria given below:-

Date of Commencement of UPSC Examinations 2010 from 10th July

Conditions of Eligibility:

• Age Limits: Minimum Age will be 21 years and Maximum Age Limit will be 30 years as on 01st July 2010.
  
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University with at least one of the subjects namely animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology or a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix-III of Rules for the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated 20th February, 2010.
• How to Apply:-Candidates can send their applications through online and offline medium.Online Medium of apply on the UPSC portal will open from 27th Feb, 2010 to 15th march 2010 for which a separate notice is to be issued.
• Fee:Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. Female/ SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of Fees. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fees)
• Last Date (OFFLINE): 22.03.10 (29.03.2010 for candidates from Far_flung areas)
• Last Date (ONLINE): apply between 27.02.2010 to 15.03.2010
