Medical Qualified Professor Requirtment by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Feb 2010

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) invites Indian medical qualified persons for recruitment on Professor posts in Employment Advertisement Number -118 dated 16 Feb 2010 on Post under Current Vacancy & Post under Backlog. Separate item wise applications are invited by MPSC from medical qualified candidates only for filling 10 posts of Professor in the following subjects in Government Medical Colleges, Maharashtra Medical Education & Research Services, Group-A as per details biven below:-

• Pathology Post under Backlog-1, Qualification:-M.D.(Pathology) AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in Pathology in a Medical College
• Paediatrics Post under Current Vacancy-1, Qualification:-M.D. (Paediatrics) AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in Paediatrics in a Medical College
  
• Anaesthesiology Post under Current Vacancy-1, Qualification:-M.D. (Anaesthesiology) / M.S. (Anaesthesiology)AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in Anaesthesiology in a Medical College.
• Ophthalmology Post under Current Vacancy-1, Post under Backlog-1, Qualification:-M.S. (Opthalmology) / M.D. (Opthalmology) AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in Opthalmology in a Medical College.
• Neurosurgery Post under Current Vacancy-1, Qualification:-M.Ch. (Neuro Surgery ) AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in Neuro Surgery in a Medical College.
• General Surgery Post under Current Vacancy-1,Post under Backlog-1, Qualification:-M.S.(Surgery)/ M.S. (General Surgery) AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in General Surgery in a Medical College.
• Nephrology Post under Current Vacancy-1,Post under Backlog-1, Qualification:-D.M. (Nephrology ) AND Four years experience as Associate Professor in Nephrology in a Medical College.

• PAY:- Rs.37400- 67000 + G.P.Rs.10000/- (T.E.approximately Rs.75518/-) plus other admissible allowances as per prevalent Rules.
• AGE :- Not more than 40 years as on 1 st June, 2010. Relaxable as per Rules, The upper age limit shall not apply to employee of Government of Maharashtra, Age limit may be relaxed by the Government on the recommendation of the Commission in favour of candidates possessing exceptional qualifications or experience or both.

PLACE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM AND LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION FORMS :-

• The duly filled up Application Form along with required fee will be accepted only at any of the designated Post Offices mentioned in the prospectus in their working hours on or before 17th March, 2010.
• Application Form will not be accepted in the Office of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission under any circumstances or no enquiry in that behalf will be entertained.
