HPPSC Invited applications from the eligible and desirous citizens of India, for admission to the H.P. Judicial Service Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2010, based on Multiple Choice Questions (100% objective type), to be conducted at Shimla and Dharamsala in Kangra District (if adequate Nos. of candidates opt for Dharamsala centre), followed by main written examination and viva voce, for appointment to the following vacancies:-

Last Date of Receipt of applications 01/03/2010

• Civil Judges, (Junior Division)
• Pay scale of Rs.9000-14550/- (pre-revised)
• Total 13 Posts ( Existing number of Vacancies 8 (Gen.-04,OBC-02, SC-01,ST-01),Anticipated Vacancies 5 ( Gen.-02,SC-02,ST-01 for the next one Year)
• DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: The knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
• AGE LIMIT:A candidate must have attained the age of 22 years but must not be more than 30 years of age as on the last date prescribed for receipt of applications in the Commission’s Office i.e. 1st March, 2010
• Examination Fees: General / Unreserved category Rs.250/-.SC/ST/OPRC Rs.63/-.
