Applications are invited by IIT, Madras for filling up the vacancy posts of Professors on various posts as given below:-

Last Date of receipt of applications : 15.02.2010

• Professors, Pay Scale:- PB-4 with AGP Rs. 10500/- pm. For direct recruits, minimum pay in the Pay Band to be fixed at Rs. 48000/-
• Associate Professors, Pay Scale:- PB-4 with AGP Rs. 9500/- pm. For direct recruits, minimum pay in the Pay band to be fixed at Rs. 42800/-
• Assistant Professors, Pay Scale:- PB-3 for direct recruits, minimum pay in the Pay bad to be fixed at Rs. 30000/- with AGP of rs. 8000/- pm. On completion of 3 years of service as Assistant Professor, shall move to Pay Band -4 with AGP of Rs. 9000/- pm
