Positions of Research Assistant (RA1), Research Associate (RA), Research Associate/Junior Research Fellow (RA/JRF), Software Engineer (SE), Materials Manager (MM), Software Manager (SM), Site Manager (SM1), Project Engineer (PE), Project Manager (RP), Research Associate/Post Doctoral Fellow (RA/PDF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF) are available in the following projects.

Aerospace Engineering

• P(06-1) Damage Detection Technique for Laminated Composite Structures.
• RA1: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech or equivalent degrees in Aerospace Engineering. MTech or industrial experience will be preferred.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.13000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : Experimental and computational research assistance on Structural Health Monitoring

Chemistry

• P(06-2) Double Resonance Spectroscopic Investigation Proton Transfer Process
• RA: (1 Post) Eligibility : PhD in Physical Chemistry
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : To work on Laser spectroscopy of hydrogen bonded complexes.

Civil Engineering

• P(06-3) Operating Rules For a Multipurpose Reservior Using Soft Computing Techniques
• RA: (1 Post) Eligibility : M.E or M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering, or Hydrology or Irrigation Water Management.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.15000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : Data collection, data analysis, computer programming for reservoir operation, report preparation, field visits, and all day to day work related to the project. The selected candidate has to register for the Ph.D in the same area of the project topic.

Electrical Engineering

• P(06-4) Control & fault detection of Reusable Launch Vehicles after Re-entry
• RA/JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : A Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering is required. Experience in 6-DOF modeling and simulations in Aerospace applications will be a strong advantage.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.10000/- p.m.
• Job Profile : Simulation and control of 6DOF model for Reusable Launch Vehicles.

Energy Science and Engineering

• P(06-5) Development of Megawattscale SolarThermal Power Testing,Simulation,Research Facility(Plant coming up in Solar Energy Centre-nr.Delhi.Staffs may have to travel different places)
• RP: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in Mechanical,Chemical, Production, or equivalent engineering.6 years experience in project management/ project implementation related to chemical, petrochemical,power plant or equivalent sector.Desired:Experience in erection and commissioning of chemical,petrochemical, power plant etc. Ideas about solar thermal systems.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.60000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : To coordinate with the research team and manage different activities related to this project, including supervising procurement, erection, commissioning, operation of the solar power plant and coordination with the research team.
• MM: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in Engineering /B.Sc. with experience in engineering procurement.4 years experience in material handling from specification preparation to logistics including procurement. Desired: Experience in inspection,ideas about instrumentation.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.39000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : To coordinate and manage activities related to different aspects of material management including specification,preparation, inspection, procurement, supplychain,inventory, spare parts,etc.
• SM1: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in Mechanical,Chemical, Production,Civil or equivalent engineering.4 years experience in erection and commissioning of chemical, petrochemical, power plant etc. Desired:Ideas about solar thermal systems, ideas about instrumentation.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.39000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : To coordinate and supervise overall activities at site(near Delhi) including foundation, site preparation, store,installation, operation and maintenance,etc.
• PE: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in Mechanical,Chemical, Production, or equivalent engineering.2 years experience in Energy related field. Desired:Ideas about solar thermal systems.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.27000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : Different technical activities related to design, specifications, simulator preparation, procurement, erection and commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance etc.
• SE: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in IT or Engineering.2 years exp in GUI development. Desired: Ideas about process plant simulators.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.27000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : To develop the Graphical User Interface(GUI) of the solar simulator and designing efficient data structure for the same.
• SM: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in IT or Engineering.4 years exp. in simulations of engineering systems and related software development.Desired:Ideas about process plant simulators.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.39000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : To coordinate and manage the overall development of the solar simulator.
• RA1: (1 Post) Eligibility : BE/BTech in Mechanical, Chemical or equivalent Engineering.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.25000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : Different technical activities related to design, specifications, simulator preparation, procurement, erection and commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance etc.

Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science

• P(06-6) Centre for Nano Technology (Nanoelectronics......nanobiotechnology).
• RA/PDF: (1 Post) Eligibility : Ph.D. in Chemistry with two years experience in synthesis and characterisation of nanopowders.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.25000/- p.m.
• Job Profile : Carryout research in the synthesis of nanoparticles for ultrahydrophobic coatings.

Physics

• P(06-7) Structurally Engineered Magnetic Nanoparticles
• JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : MSc (Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science) or BTech (EP) or MTech (Physics or MatSci)Desired: 1-2 Years research experience in related area. Candidates should be CSIR NET/GATE qualified.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : Full time research involvement in synthesis of nano particles, surface functionalization and structural and surface analysis.

• P(06-8) Tunable and Multi Wavelength Fibre Laser For Fibre Optic Applications
• JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility : First Class in M.Sc (Physics) /B.Tech/B.E.(Electrical or EC), Qualifying in NET /CSIR (JRF/Lecturership) or GATE examination will be an advantage.
• Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.10000/- p.m. + HRA
• Job Profile : Required to work in the area of Photonics (fiber lasers - experiment and modeling work)
