Applications are invited for recruitment against Cultural quota in Group ‘C’ category in Scale Rs.5200-20,200/-(RSRP’08)+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- in the prescribed format given in this notice.
1)DETAILS OF POSTS: - Total - 02 Nos.
The details of the posts are as under:
(i) Instrumental – (Male or Female) - 01 No.
(ii) Vocal - (Male or Female) - 01 No.
2) Qualifications required for Instrumental/Vocal.
(i) Academic Qualification: The candidate should posses a minimum qualification of Madhyamik Pass or its equivalent.
(ii) Essential Qualification/Proficiency in Instrumental/Vocal :- Candidates should possess Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in Instrumental/Vocal from Govt. recognized University/Institute.
3) Desirable :
(i) Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc..
(ii)Prize won at National level in the field of Instrumental/Vocal.
4) Age: The candidate should be within the age limit of 18 to 30 years( in case of SC/ST/OBC candidate, relaxation of 05 yrs. for SC/ST & 03 yrs. for OBC will be admissible) as on 01/07/2009. Attested copies of age proof, caste certificate(SC/ST & OBC) should be attached along with the application.

How to apply : The given format should be neatly typed or hand written either in English or Hindi on full scapes size paper with one passport size Photograph to be attached duly signed in the application form and two passport size photographs duly signed at the back should be clipped along with the application form. All applications for category 1 should accompany Processing fees IPO/Bank Demand Draft of Rs.40/- (Forty) only (No IPOs will be required for SC/ST candidates as they are exempted from paying processing fee). The IPO/BANK DEMAND DRAFT SHOULD BE DRAWN IN FAVOUR OF “ FA & CAO, CHITTARANJAN LOCOMOTIVE WORKS, CHITTARANJAN”. Payable at SBI/Chittaranjan. The amount will not be refundable under any circumstances.
